any news yet when the gear diff will be out

If you are talking about the 210 just fit a AE 2wd Short Course diff in will need the bearings and then shim out to fit.

any idea what part, bearing are needed

You can fit the standard sc10 gear diff which is ae part 9827 without using flanged bearings except that you will need to run a lot of shims either side to stop the diff from moving side to side.

Two weeks ago I tested my SC10 gear diff in the 210. The diameter of the SC diff is 1mm less than the 210 ball diff. And that's the problem. I drove on carpet with a 6.5 SP V3 and the gear box made terrible sounds. So I went back to the original Ball Diff. I hope this will help you a little bit.

i haven't had any problem with my sc10 diff, it works great :)

Did you shim it?
JE bearing number is 10154 it's a flanged bearing 2 of plus the Durango shims, hope this helps

I have run my 210 with Diff in for 3 meetings now and no issues what so ever. 1 side of the diff-There is a tad bit of plastic that is on the end of the gear. So the diff needs to be shimmed a tad more on 1 side to move it away from the gears so it rolls free on the gears. So the slight bit does not hit the gearbox gears at all. If that is done correctly, then there is no issues. But someone I know had a similar issue, which I think was that exact reason. The main Gear diff body side, needs to be shimmed away as where the body and gear area meet. The body overlaps slightly-Which will cause binding and noise if not shimmed correctly.

Yes i shimmed it correctly. My reason is the 1mm less in the diameter.

Are you also driving 6.5T on Highgrip Carpet. I Think it will work with 9.5T or at a slidy track.

7.5t on High grip Astro and no issues at all..
