When the temperature is up at York the tyres wear more, but grip more too on the hall floor. I get 2 runs at the most at full performance with the latest softer pins, even with the 7.5 in my 2wd :(

I usually run them for about 2 meetings before they are unusable.

Why dont you contact Schumacher direct, and explain the problems you had. They sorted me out with a new set recently, and I think they are aware of the issues that we are having. Mind you keep those tires as you may have to send them back to Schumacher to get a new set.

never had a problem with schui tyres, tried some ballistic's latley no problems with them either:)i must admit there is a bit of raggy rubber on schui's.but i think one simple reason for tyre's wearing out quick,is the rapid motors we use now a days, battery's that give mega punch.you watch some car's going around the track, and the tyre's are getting well ragged.it aian't rocket science if you ask me.

Which Ballistic tyre (compound) is comparable with the Schumacher Mini Pins Yellow and the Schumacher mini-spikes Yellow?
Do they exist?

take back what i said about schui tyre's:lol:the latest set i bought for 4wd,yellow mini spikes:mad:couldn't beleive how bad front moulding's were, when you looked down the middle of front tyre's.one half was like 1 mm below the other half:thumbdown:and the rear spike's,rather then wearing down from the top of the spike.some of the spike's are crumbeling away around the side's:mad::thumbdown::(

Sounds like you got an older bag and what a few of us described at the time as "Pre scubbed", the tyre quality currently coming out of Schumacher is far better than approx' 6-12 months ago-ish - which is why it sounds like the bag you got is old stock.

I hope you haven't used it, as I recommend you give this pair of tyres back to the shop bought from, and get them to return to Schumacher. Anything from current Schumacher stock is far superior to what you are describing mate. ;)

The spike shape looks like they have had a run or too on them already and don't have the square top on the spike :(
