We don't check bags in my family. My dad has accumulated almost 1,000,000 airline miles and knows how the system works; we travel light.

Im hoping to be able to convert my pistol grip to 2.4 with this:

If not, I may just use my plane Tx with a 2.4 module and start practicing now.

Cool, I'm also a big believer in travelling light and not checking bags. However, I do think you'll be risking some disappointment by trying to bring the car and the rest of your kit into the cabin. Certainly your tools will be no-go. Tricky... I know the dilemma!

Using the 2.4 tx and rx from you plane could be a good plan. nice.

When I first brought my rc10 over to the UK a few years ago, I still had the 1980s 75mhz gear in it. Even in an empty city park there was tons of interference. So don't even consider that (and it's illegal too...).

Cheers,
Ty

If you are coming to York, you can borrow a 40mhz wheel hitec lynx setup I have spare here, I don't race, but I can leave it with one of the guys that will be there:thumbsup:

I prefer it when I'm not drunk.

Purpluetimbo, thanks!!! You don't race?? Why not borrow my car?!

Im not entirely sure if we are even going to England, but my dad threw out California wine country, somewhere in Europe, or Mexico.

Seeing as how he's been to all those places, it's mostly up to my Mom and I. California wine country is the lamest thing I've ever heard of for spring break, and my Mom's been to Mexico before. England is looking good for the (non)language barrier.

Never been competitive, I am a colector, hoarder, sourcer of the rare and oddball, and old school, look up my ebay stuff, you will see what I mean
