Saving a TikTok Before Replacing a Phone - DESENMASCARANDO LAS FALSAS DOCTRINAS

I am replacing my phone next week and realised that one of my favourite videos exists only as a public TikTok post. It shows the first miniature room I built, including a few details I have since changed. I want a local copy before moving everything to the new device, but I do not want to rush through the process and assume that a file has transferred correctly. Would you save it on the old phone first or use a computer? I have access to both, and my priority is keeping a complete copy that I can find easily after the move.

I would use whichever device makes it easiest to locate and play the finished file, then transfer a second copy to the other one. The important part is testing both copies rather than choosing a particular device first. Give the video a descriptive name and keep a note of the publication date if that matters to your project history. Open the transferred copy from its new folder and watch the final seconds as well as the beginning. That will tell you more than seeing a familiar thumbnail, which could belong to a partial file or a different version.

Using two devices would give you a practical way to confirm the transfer before replacing the phone. The miniature's title and recording date would make the file easier to identify later. Keep the public post link in the same project notes as your photographs.
