Here is the breakdown of why this date is fixed in July rather than September: 1. Historical and Liturgical Tradition The July 22 Date: The Western Church (Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran) has commemorated Mary Magdalene on July 22nd since at least the 8th century. July 21 Misconception: July 21st is actually the feast day of Saint Lawrence of Brindisi or Saint Praxedes, depending on the calendar. September Associations: September does not hold a major historical tie to Mary Magdalene in mainstream Christian liturgy. September contains feasts like the Nativity of Mary (September 8) and Holy Cross Day (September 14). 2. Tabernacle and Astrological Symbols The Cubical Structure: In esoteric or astrological interpretations, the "cube" and "Saturn" are often linked to structures of time, physical reality, or specific zodiac signs. Sun in Cancer/Leo: Late July corresponds to the transition between Cancer and Leo. Autumnal Equinox: September (specifically around September 21-23) marks the Autumnal Equinox and the sun entering Libra. The Disconnect: Mainstream Christian liturgical dates were set based on early martyr lists (martyrologies) and historical traditions, rather than matching esoteric models like the Tabernacle layout or Saturnian cube alignments.
