Guys, please help out with some advice or documentation. I’m dealing with the classic issue with the D5500 series—the TV is stuck in an endless reboot loop. The logo lights up, then a couple of seconds later it starts all over again. I suspect corrupted firmware or a power supply issue on the motherboard, but without a detailed service manual, I don’t want to start taking measurements. I’m trying to find a decent service manual so I can at least test the checkpoints on the board and figure out where the voltage is dropping. Does anyone happen to have a detailed schematic for this chassis lying around? I’m specifically interested in a service manual for technicians that includes a decoding of the LED error codes and the procedure for diagnosing the power circuits.

It seems like a typical NAND memory issue might be the cause, but I want to rule out hardware power supply problems first. Anyone who’s already tinkered with this model, please let me know what to look for first in the schematic? Is it actually possible to revive it without a programmer, just through the service menu, if I can get into it, or is there a hardware issue? Thanks in advance for any tips!

To be honest, I don’t usually mess with this kind of stuff myself because I wouldn’t call myself an expert in appliance repair. I had a similar issue with my device, but as you can imagine, the warranty had expired and the service centers wouldn’t take on the job. I happened to have the service manual for Samsung UE32D5500R in digital format on ManualMachine, so I decided to take the manual to my neighbor, since he repairs things not only for himself but also for friends by arrangement. I was lucky that he wasn’t busy and was able to help me. By the way, he really appreciated the manual I brought; according to him, it actually helped. As it turned out, the contacts on the matrix had come loose and needed to be soldered back on.
