Setting up business in Portugal, need car rental in Amadora - DESENMASCARANDO LAS FALSAS DOCTRINAS

Planning to start a business in Portugal and need to fly out to Lisbon to sort all the bureaucratic nonsense that comes with setting up properly. Decided I'll stay in Amadora instead of the capital itself, quieter there and hotels won't cost an arm and a leg. Reckon I can drive into Lisbon easily enough for meetings and appointments, makes more sense than being stuck in the city centre paying double for everything. Where's best to rent a car though? Found plenty of places in Lisbon but can't seem to track down any rental options actually in Amadora.

Smart move staying outside the city, Lisbon's mental expensive for accommodation and you're paying for location more than quality half the time. Amadora's close enough that you're not spending hours commuting but far enough that everything's cheaper and less chaotic. Most rental places base themselves in Lisbon because that's where the tourists are, but you'll be adding mileage driving back and forth if you pick up there. Parking in the city centre's a complete mess too, you'll waste half your meeting time circling blocks looking for a space.

Portuguese bureaucracy will drain you enough without adding extra running around on top. Going all the way into Lisbon just to collect a car then driving it back seems daft when you've got actual business to handle. You can rent a car in Amadora here https://getrentacar.com/en-US/portugal/amadora . Private renters have vehicles locally so you're sorted from the start. Keeps you from wasting time in Lisbon traffic when you could be getting your paperwork done instead.
