Yo! I am a fellow app hunter, so I know exactly what you mean about that "welcome email" flood. It can get so annoying when you just want to test a UI for five minutes. My secret weapon is definitely using a temp mail for every single beta I join. I keep TempBox open in a tab while I am hunting for new tools. I sign up, grab the activation code, and do my testing. If I decide the app is a keeper, I can always change the email to my real one later. But if it’s a dud, I just close the tab and never have to deal with their marketing emails again. It keeps my workspace clean and my focus on the actual software! |
