I bought this radio on here to see if I liked stick radios but have decided im more of a wheel guy. I used this radio inside racing and had no problems at all, however I did notice a range issue if using it outside. It seems to be around the 40m mark. I have been told its probably a break in the receiver antenna wire.

You can buy new receivers for around £24, or you can try and replace the antenna. I think it would be a perfect subject for a Frsky hack module conversion as this radio has a great number of features. You could also try a patch antenna from Giantcod which are a fiver, but as i said i had no issues while using it racing. Just dont want to mislead anyone so they are the facts.
