Default New BJ4 WE owner

Howdo.

I picked up Matt Myer's BJ4 WE a couple of weeks ago. I totally love it. It's only been used out the front of the house on the grass at the minute. I'm going to do some of the regionals and CML Raceway club races with it.

If I were to get a servo saver for it, that was close in length to an AE horn, what would be the best servo saver to get?

Thanks.

Elliott.

I also have a BJ4 WE and i have mashed 2 servos using only the kit servo horn. I have now changed to a Trick bits servo saver and it is excellent now. Hope you enjoy the car. Drive it at 80% and it will be quicker. Strange but it works!

Just wait till you get it on a track

I gave up on trying to find a servo saver that is strong enough, all the ones I tried had too weak a spring. I use a KO2343 (metal gears but with a plastic 'safety' gear) and I've had 2 of the AE servo horns break with no servo damage, it takes a big hit to do it

I've got the Tamiya heavy duty one in and that seems to be up to the job.

Hot Bodies wing mounts are a direct swap for the losi parts, or at least very damn close..

HB61427 - Standard mounts (inc HB D4 bumber) £3.99

HB61430 - New style lowered mounts (inc. HB D4 wide bumber) £3.99

much cheaper than Looooosi parts

I think the Pred x11 ones are also a very close fit for the bj4 and losi cars aswell and are very strong.

I think the pred ones will increase high speed stability and also top speed, I am led to believe the pred is the fastest car ever in a straight line. It also has the most suspension travel if you remove other cars that actually have more from the list.

You could also try the XXX4 servo saver if you must have one.

Direct for HB...... but try The Race Place, MK Racing or DMS they're all top when it comes to getting spares. If none of them have the parts in stock they should all be able to order them Mirage.
