Default Lipos fully charged at 8.50 amp?

is this norman i thought they could only go to 8.40?

Hi Sam,

I'm assuming you mean 8.5V? I have never seen this myself, but after a quick google search, apparently this is possible. A maximum voltage of 4.25V per cell.

So yes, I guess this is norman.

Not really good! Possibly quite dangerous and will get you kicked out of any race meeting if anyone checks, so no, not normal at all.

How are you measuring the 8.5V? What charger are you using and with what settings?

im using a team orion IQ and they dont usually do that so is it the batteries or the charger???

you want to set it to cut off at 8.40 vlts like other post said just ur not allowed to go over it at brca or clubs
