Default Slipper Assembly - query

Hello,

Should I prepare the slipper plates, and pads with wet or dry to roughen up the surface?

What grade wet or dry?

Thanks,

Chris

You will want very very fine wet and dry on the plates. Around 2500 would be okay or finer.

Some 1500 would be fine on the pads just to remove any polishing effect.

Hope this helps. Be careful whilst doing this though, as you dont want the pads too thin. I found the yellow pads better in the B44 as they were far more consistent than the white ones.
