Hello all,
I'm having trouble accessing the motor in my B44. I've seen a few people with exended allen drivers, where can I get one from? Failing that, how do you access the motor? Remove the rear wheel and spring? Thanks, Chris

If you get the b44.1 motor mount you wont have to worry about longer drivers as the motor just slides in & is tightened from the side

The B44.1 motor mount would indeed sort your problem, but in the meantime grab yourself a long allen driver and most importantly make sure it's ball ended. The driver I used on the old B44 mount was about 6" long and I threaded it between the camber link and driveshaft.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Yes, I like the look of the B44.1 mount. Quite expensive though! can anybody post a link to an extended driver that works please? Thanks, Chris

All I've ever done is remove the battery post and jam one through the wishbone/spring. As mentioned it needs to be a ball ended one though.

Associated did supply one with the kit but I can't see the part number for it anywhere!
Might be worth an email to cml or ae to see if you can get it seperately (assuming you don't find an alternative) |
