Default paypal scam

Another old paypal scam doing the rounds again.

We have reason to believe that your account was accessed by a third party. We limited access to sensitive PayPal account features in case your account has been accessed by an unauthorized third party. We understand that having limited access can be an inconvenience, but protecting your account is our primary concern.

A good one though, the link looks real even has the padlock in the addy bar but never mentioned my name as paypal and ebay do.

if it's a mirror it is very good as all the links take you to seperate correct sections.

looks legit to me?

Which bit of "never mentioned my name as eBay and PayPal do" was it that didn't register?!!! I've had a few of these, and the giveaway is that they never use your full name, because they can't access that as it hidden in both eBay and PayPal.

Still, at least you'll get more to review - by going there you've confirmed that your e-mail address is active. I just hate these things, they're such a waste of my time. Bah, humbug, grumpy old man!!

Maybe the e-mail said http://paypal.com but the link pointed elsewhere?

I use gmail and this was marked as spam. Paypal will use your real name when they send you an email. This one was just as posted. I agree with everyone who says the link looks like the real site but Im not putting my email address and password in there.

Default scam spam

If any email from paypal, ebay, banks etc etc, does not have your full name in the main title/page, then it IS a scap spam. delete and block the sender.
NEVER click any iffy link in any email, simple, beware, the scammers are everywhere.

If in dought, DELETE!
