Beware when buying these very cheap digital calipers they will not give accurate or constant readings. A good quality Digital vernier caliper can be bought for about £15. from any Engineers shop Cromwell Tools as branches Nation wide. This advise comes from my Engineering background of 30 years.

i work in the motor trade & as a main dealer we have to have everything calibrated as part of our British Standards or whatever they call it nowadays (it keeps changing) and one of our guys gave his lidl calipers to the caltec calibration guy & he said they were spot on

i just bought a digital vernier & micrometer set off the snapon man & tbh i wish i'd found a cheaper alternative

even worse than that i found the mitutoyos i thought i'd lost in one of my hauler bags! i'm overun with measuring equipment
