And it would be difficult to tempt a top US driver away from their team cause they do earn alot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$

its more to do with the driver than the car at the end of the day, granted the car helps but its more driver... next world champ... B44, D4 or the Serpent. my reason.... big companies can sign big names

Paul is right, I don't know any exact amount's, but SOME drivers earn enough to live very comfortable from racing alone!!!!
But drivers are on different pay rates, and of course there is a win bonus!!!

I recon Wraggy with the S4 for the euro's win
In my opinion(not that its worth much) i think it is going to take someone with very special thumbs to knock ae off the top spot, possibly a hb driver?? It's not so much that its a better car, just more of them and alot of good drivers on those teams.

I agree!!! They have Amescua, Hara, and many other good drivers. Oh and they were very pleasant to chat to at the worlds!!!! Some other teams were head down into racing so much, they could barely muster a hello!

Especially because of the IFMAR rule the the World's have to be on a natural surface, ie dirt!!!!! They run on those types of tracks full time. I am sure if we had alot of dirt tracks our top drivers would be right there with those guys!!!

If you look as well how quick mr cragg is at 2wd, there is nothing special about his b4 its just a standard ft b4 with plastic bits here and there, then look at his results in 4wd, he is nowhere near as quick or consistant. The car does play a big part but the driver has to be capable first.
I think pidge will win the 4wd euros this year, lee is doing a fair bit of running on dirt so it should set him up well for it.
He will also be at the sharp end in 2wd of course as he was awesome on dirt at the clash.

Plus the worlds is another 18months away at the moment. people might change team over next winter with it being a worlds year
