it has geared diffs, can they be tuned with different silicone fluids?
any other observations on how they do as a club touring car on carpet or any othe tcs for similar budget? cheers |

The diffs aren't sealed so you can't use oil (EDIT HPI say they are sealed but someone at the track told me they weren't - perhaps the design is not suited to oils?). You can maybe try a thick grease in the front diff, or even blu-tack to lock it up (although if you lock it up you might start breaking other bits of the drivetrain).
I've seen a few running at my local club and they run fine with the right tyres. The Flux is the wrong motor/esc though, way too fast for indoors and not built to BRCA specs. |
