Default Euros ! Euros ! Euros !

I can't wait for the Euros, less than a month away now. From paul worsleys email, it looks like just about everyone is in the same hotel again, fantastic. I did a rough count of about 39 UK racers going ? Should be about the biggest team again I think ?

I just hope glyn doesn't get lost with all mi gear. :jimmeh

I had a look on google earth and all being well I managed to find the airport, the ibis messe hotel and the track. No idea how to post coordinates or any of that stuff, but these screen grabs give a rough idea of the locations of all three.

The distances dont look that big, but then, nothing does when you are flying round the world and spinning it / zooming in etc.

If anyone knows different lemme know, but these look right to me.

heres a lil map from the official website at: http://www.rmc-wien.at

The IBIS hotel is just off the map on the left of the map near the top (the large roundabout looking thing)

Plans to the club area

• Following A1 until exit A21 (Wien-Süd)
exit A2 (Zentrum) - A23 direction „Gänserndorf“

• Following A2 – A23 direction „Gänserndorf“

• Following A22 (Graz) exit A23 direction „Gänserndorf“

• From the airport follow A4 until exit A23 direction
„Gänserndorf“

• Leaving A23 exit „Hirschstetten“

• 1st traffic light direction „Hirschstetten“

• 2nd traffic light straight ahead

• 3rd traffic light stay right

• 4th traffic light turn left

• Next possibility turn right

• After crossing the rail next possibility left

• Now you reached „Contiweg“

• After 100 meter turn left to enter the club area

it looks like the club website is doing live commentary when racing gets under way. Anyone know how to get the site in English?!!

or another site that will give live results etc?

steve, looks like Petit RC isn't covering it at the moment, but they may update it once the qualifying starts.

Ian, nice one. The translation is a bit rough, but gives you the general idea!

well, petit RC don't have any reference at al lto the Euro's and the live update on RMC Wien hasn't kicked in yet. The first round must have finished now surely?

anyone found any other sites?

First round just finished... Heat 4 Round 2 (the first heat of round 2) is just starting.

Peter Pinisch did the only 12 lapper I think, Hupo Honigl did an 11 in 5 minutes dead and Neil was 2 seconds behind I think!

Looks like Jimmy didn't start... he's part of the no score crew at the bottom.
