Default spur movement

After a few races in noticed that i can move the spur gear back and forward just a little bit?

Is this normal?Does it just need shimming or is there something else wrong? Everything still works fine.

you don't mention which car, but generally, i would say any fore/aft movement of the spur on the shaft means something is not tightened up or shimmed properly.

I presume you talking about the lazer fs,i had this on mine and to get rid of the play pull the slipper out and put a diff shim behind each bearing, they are a perfect fit.
