Default CR2 Front axle question

I'm brand new to Oople and have been lurking for a while so I thought I'd finally join. I'm from the other side of the big pond from most of you, here in Houston, Texas. I just bought a CR2 last week but have yet to run it. It is absolutely beautiful. It's the perfect compliment to my two JRX-2's and XX. Please forgive me if I'm asking a repetitive question. I've searched around a bit and it's possible that this has been asked before but I just didn't find it.

I am interested in running the wider 4wd wheels on the front. The axle hole in the wheels is larger than the 2wd. Since the 22 runs the 4wd style wheels and their axles have a lip machined into them which fits the 4wd wheels, can these be used on the CR2? At a guess I'd say they would but since I don't have them I don't know the lengths and what the overall offset would be. Has anyone tried this?

You can run 4wd fronts one it if the hex is imperial, like the jc relux wheels. To run them, you remove the screw that holds the hex, and put the spacer on the outside of the hub, then the wheels go on like usual, thats how I run relux wheels front and rear on my car
