Default B4 layshaft

Hi all

I need to replace the top layshaft in the B4, which is the best layshaft to use?

I would stick with the standard one.
What happened to the old one?

The layshaft is bit worn, i think i read somewhere here on the forum that a few peeps were using the X factory layshaft

The X-Factory version is a direct fit and a big improvement by being juts one solid piece, there is also the MIP version which is also one piece but made of lightweight hardened alloy for those who want less rotating mass etc...
