Default Learner setup? Not radical.

First of all, thanks to all of the regular contributors. You gave me the confidence that I could upgrade to one of these great looking cars. Only the 410R version (at the reduced price) but you have to start somewhere.
Car is going together very well thanks to the great info around. Have avoided a lot of the gotchas. Only mistake so far was that I missed out one of the little black plastic spacers on the rear axle late last night. Thought there was a lot of play.
Stopped at that point as I need to start to decide on the setup while I can still adjust without taking loads to bits again but there is too much info. Where to start? I looked at loads of the driver contributions on the team site but they are all different.
Can anyone recommend one for learning how to use this car? Surface will be bumpy grass with lots of space until I am confident. Can't afford to wreck it. What I need is the easy drive version.
Robert
