Default Clanfield: 1/10th Buggies?

Hello,

will there be another 1/10th buggy meeting at Clanfield in the near future?

It kicked arse last time.

Elliott.

Tony has been considering it. The only problem last time was that the turn out was not that good. There were a few grumbles about the track being too long but we can alter the track to cater for this. We are going to run electric every other Wednesday night throughout the summer weather permitting of course.

I didn't think the track was too long. The straight was fine. The lap times were reasonable weren't they?

it was a good meeting, i'd definitely go back for more

as for track length - it was shorter than we run with 8th & seemed OK to me

It was awesome racing at Clanfield - i don't think the track was too big for us, and there seemed to be a few options of shortening it anyway if needed but it was just so nice to race on dirt again!

its in the field where the crosshairs are when you first open the image, scroll out to see larger area
basically its off the A3 about 10 miles North of Portsmouth so if you see the sea you've gone too far

That looks way cool.

If it's included in the nats this year I can't wait to go there. (if its dry)

What tyres were used?

we were using Proline tyres which seemed really good on the dirt
bowties in the soft M3 compound worked well
