Default B4 Gearing

Hi Guys

Looking for a little help with th egearing on my B4

My set up is as follows:

Mamba Max Pro
GM 97225 3.5T Motor
2s 5000Mah Lipo

What size pinion would be a good starting point with an 81T spur ? (or what sort of FDR should i be looking at as a starting point)
Will mainly be running on tarmac and short grass ?

Not looking for anything insane just nice steady bashing and long run times

Any help much appreciated

Thnanks Guys

A 3.5 is a bit too much motor for a 2wd buggy, you'll have trouble keeping the front end on the floor. Chances are if you adjust the slipper to compensate you'll cook the pads and plates, leave the slipper tight and the poor diff is going to have a very hard time

At a guess start in the 17-18t range of pinions and see, though being a 3.5 it's going to get red hot no matter how you gear it I'm afraid!
