Lightbulb Some advice

Hi

I just want to be a bit clear on this issue....

I have a orca 10.5t brushless motor installed on my b max 4 wd.

It's a great motor, but is it enough for this off road? Most people seem to use 6.5t and lower. I am not the competitive type or want to go very fast. Are these factors that determine the turn number needed and/or there other factors I've missed!

I'd appreciate further advice before any further purchases!

Ta!

I've never used it so I can't advise.

However a friend runs a 10.5 with a Hobbywing speedo in his b44, we put a little boost on it last night and it seems quick enough.

I'd say not but it also depends on what the track your racing on is like but personally i've been running a 6.5 outdoors and a 7.5 indoors in my Durango and the 6.5 is plenty fast enough for what i need for outdoors

I'm using a 10.5t in my Bmax, and its as quick as anyone else. The 'secret' is in the ESC - I'm using an LRP Stockspec and I'm running dynamic timing advance ('boost'). This allows a 10.5t to be as quick as a 6.5t. The beauty is that adjusting the degree of boost tames it for indoors (7.5t equivalent) and makes it wilder outdoors (6.5t) all from one motor. Runs quite hot though, and will probably kill the motor faster.
I'm geared at 25/81 with an Orion 10.5t
