Default buds lovely balls

after a busy winter season my diffs were shot and i was struggling to work out my set up . with rc most mechanical know how crosses over apart from the diffs . i knew about gear diffs but ball diffs were a mystery
i had a vauge idea about building them and adjusting them ( i thought )
any way after a visit to buds balls hq and having them rebuilt using ceramic diff AND thrust bearings i was astounded at the differance the car feels like it used to
the diff balls on the old diffs had worn but not anything like the thrust bearing . one diff had three square blocks instaed of 7 round balls
and the other had cruchy shapes of metal
after a quick lesson in diff maintanence and a rebuild they felt ace
after running it at ross mods on wed and having a practice on goshen astro today it really feels like a differant car and has got me all excited about outdoor racing this summer
if ya diffs are stressing you out or ya cars handling wierd i would definatley recommend getting some ceramics in there especially thrust bearings after seeing the tiny size of em dont reckon steel can hack it
made my car back to a contender and put a smile on my face
cheers buds
lovely balls
