hi i have just got a tamiya 501 ,where do you buy your spares parts from thanks.

starting with Brock, all the above mentioned, depends who has them in and how urgently I need them.
Read through the 501X threads and you should be able to sort out the essentials, prior to breaking anything, admittedly it depends on the individuals driving for some, but there is a reasonable short list its always best to have in your box, Jimmies is about right for most though.
Some parts are not unique to the 501X so check the parts listing on the back page of the manual and the threads on here for them and alternatives.
Last time out though I did need rear hinge pins and rear arm, as it was the fastest crash I have had so far.
All in all I conscider the 501X to be one of the strongeast buggies around though; so happy racing M8

I always got my Tamiya parts from HK, but since I tried Brockmodels I try to order from them : very good service and reasonable prices. And you have no problems with customs !

There all good from my experiance,the HK companys are very good on stock and price but its just a bit longer sometimes to wait, can any one point me to the new worlds body.
