Default EPR Summer Series

We've spoken about it for some time now!

So please check out here:

http://www.edenparkraceway.com/index.htm

basically a club championship on the same weekends as the BRCA Nationals.
We'll run along similar lines to our successful Winter Warmer series and accommodate the same THREE classes: 2WD; 4WD and Truck/SCT providing we get sufficient numbers.

This being the first time that we will be running club meetings since the return of racing at EPR numbers/popularity will largely be an unknown so we'll just see how it goes but aim to provide a more relaxed, less formal meeting aimed primarily at club members and guests but also for returnees, newbies and those coming across from 'the dark side'!

Hope to see you there, start time: lets try not getting there until at least 08:30

Default We'll be there...

Their forecasting 16 deg C. Just maybe warm enough to stop the place getting littered with Mad Rat plastic.

BIG thanks to all for todays event!

All the regular team that helped with track preparation, set-up and tear down.
All the drivers that attended today, think most people enjoyed the way the day panned out, though we will try to tidy it up the next time!

And a special VERY BIG thanks to our Race Director for the day, SIMON COOK, simply couldn't have done it without, thanks mate, much appreciated! We'll get to the bottom of this BBK thingy..........eventually!

Check out future dates on the EPR website and further announcements on your favourite forum! We'll work out Championship tables and post them on the site soon!

Thanks to all again

Thanks for a great meeting and intro back into RC racing after 25 years away!

Club is very impressive and thanks to all for advice throughout the day and not laughing at my lap times! Well at least to my face...

Look forward to getting some more well needed practice in.

Default summer series

I would love to come down for some of these summer series events. Me and my mate came down on a work party day and were really impressed by the friendly welcome and the quality of the track.

Just a couple questions please...

- Roughly when does racing start and when does it finish?

- Typically do you run 3 heats and a final?

- What is the cost for vistors?

Thanks

- the summer series club races start a little later than the normal ones - turn up around 8.30 or so should be fine. finish time i'm not sure about since I think last time went on for little longer than anticipated, but expect around 4pm or so

- last time we ran 4 heats and two finals, but again as mentioned above this might change a little due to length of time

- cost for visitors (assuming you are BRCA) is only £5 for the summer series. Have a look here. http://www.edenparkraceway.com/about.htm

hope that clears things up, i'm sure Steve will add some comment if he feels i've missed something.

we're down at EPR this Saturday (hope its dry ) if you wanna chat further
Thanks,
SHareef.
