Default Yokomo 91 Dogfighter

Hi,

While recently clearing out my loft, I came across my old Yokomo Dogfighter that I used to race back in the early to mid 90's. Rather than it collecting any more dust I was wondering if these cars were sellable / collectable ??

I have many spares / wishbones / chassis / wheels / shocks etc, I even have the origional instruction manual.

The car is not unmodified and obviously has been used as it provided some great racing back in the day !!

I have removed the running gear for the photo, but I do have a Tekin 411G speed contoller + reedy modified motor etc !!

Again not sure if these are something people want, but I would rather someone who likes the old school stuff buy it, than have it sit for another 10 years.

Any guidance would be appreciated

Here are some photos with the bodyshell and undertray off.

Remeber it well, I ran one for a short time at Bolton Buggy Club (Horwich Technical College) over one of the outdoor summer series.

Pretty much anything vintage is saleable to some extent. In terms of spares - thats a complete no no realistically but at least you have a pile of them to hand.

Ok cool, manybe someone might want to re-kindle some memories of racing of old !! I loved it and keep meaning to get back into it.

Bought my son this for £30 complete, and I think the bug is back. Don't want to risk running the Yokomo, because as stated, if I break it, spares could be a prob !!

You might be surprised how much the Yoke is worth on eBay. Have a look at the completed listings.

Someone locally recently spent £150 on a similar car (I think a slightly later evolution) with a bundle of spares. I was astonished!
