Default Track Update = Setup changes?

Hello people,

Firstly the new track looks really good - well done.

How has the new surface and layout affected peoples setups? From the photos i've seen it looks a fair bit faster and more flowing but what about the bumps/lumps?

Has the new surface affected tyre choice?

When you say new track, do you mean since Jan 1st of more recent?

im guessing youre on about since it was relaid etc.

It is more flowing yes, but ive not changed set up on the car, just tyres. it is still bumpy in places, but thats all natural in off road. but i believe the guys are planning on rolling the track sometime soon?

tyres ive been running are schumi yellow spikes all round, but they are a bit worn. im unsure of how it will react when the temp comes up significantly. the astro is different to before i believe, its got a lot of fur on the surface at the moment, not sure how thats going to change precisely.

more features are also being made

yeah the new track as of a few weeks ago.

I raced on the previous version 4-5 times during the summer. I'll admit to being a fair weather racer!!

The last time I was there I tried BB Greens and they seemed to suit so i doubt I'll bother trying anything new just yet. Best to just see what happens I suppose.

Hopefully get back down in a couple of weeks and give it another go.
