That is where I will be going if it is on (I have asked the question on the Batley part of this forum but no answer). It will be my first run out with my new ride.

Hi James,
The surface is a mixture of a very high grip astro, a low grip carpet (for carpet) and a concrete floor (not much of).

So the tyre to use tends to be Yellow Minipins. But partially worn ones are faster than new, and some people (me included) choose to run staggered ribs on the front of 2wd with Pins on the rear.

Minispikes also work very well.

Basically, so long as it is yellow compound and you have more grip on the rear than the front, it'll be fast. Its a great track. See you there!

Chris

Ever thought of looking here Spencer http://www.batleybuggyclub.co.uk/fixtures.html

As long as it does not rain heavily on the day, meetings will go ahead. Please note earlier start time, due to shorter daylight hours now the clocks have gone back

www.trcc.org.uk

We are having a fair bit more of the slippy floor at Teesside this time according to Garry (Gazbaz2 on here) but minipins are still the tires of choice, should be fun, my first decent race
