size of speedo wire

hi guys i have a lrp sxx tc speedo, i need to replace the positive wire on it as its to short.

can someone tell me the thickness of wire thats standard on the speedo and where i can buy it.
i have 14guage but its thicker on the speedo. is it 17?

80% sure its 16gauge mate

if you have 14g and the wire is thicker it will more likely be 12gauge , the lower the number the thicker the wire. i would say 12 gauge is quiet common for power wires.
