Adds a touch of colour to the Durango.

From the early tresrey lightweight shafts, I've seen some tear apart at the little holes of the MIP-part, only after a couple of packs. So I hope the 2 mm's are improved now, otherwise a no go: Look bling, but weaken your car.
The alu hubs are fine, only a lot of play at the front after a couple of packs, where they are connected to the hub. But I don't care about the play, works fine like this.
Gainabull-body is ok too, if you like it
Didn't try any other Tresrey parts yet.

As far as the 2mm Shaft goes i have only ran the car for around 5 or 6 races.
If they do wear quicker then i feel the look and quality outweighs the price as tbh there only about 11 quid.
I still have the original kit items .
You say the alu hubs have play in them , do you find considerably more play in the as opposed to the kit items or just a touch more ?
I do like the quality of the Tresrey parts and being red does ensure you stand out a little from the rest of the pack.

It seems to me more than the original, it's the spot with the most play of my complete car. But on the otherhand, the bearing part is a perfect fit, and I didn't brake any outer bearings yet, front nor rear, before that lots.
I can't remember if the R version rear part has big size bearing, if not the Tresrey are surely the way to go. In front I keep on using the alu ones too, I prefer stronger with a little more play.

Glad to hear the newer shafts are better quality, because the early ones opened up at the round joint. The car I saw them fail on was using a 6.5 on very high grip astro. Which motor and surface were you running?

The Motors the Lrp x12 6.5 , surface is mid grip indoor track , partially canvas with polished floor so there is a fair bit more give than Astro turf.

I will keep an eye on the shaft but it seems substantial enough to withstand the track i run on indoors.

As per your post a true factor in the reliability would be to run the car on a selection of varied tracks.

I will keep you posted if theres any issues.
