Ok, been away a while...what is the difference apart from capacity between these and Ni-Cd or Ni-Mh?

in a nutshell lipo don't loose power through heat and the power remains near enough the same throughout the race so you won't notice any drop in performance at the end like with nimh

you can recharge them from half charged without worry and they won't loose power over time as much as nimh did. so charge them up a week before the race no problem.

I've done 3 races on the same pack no problem.
