Default TRF201 Tyre Advice

My TRF201 should be arriving in the next week and I'm currently getting tyres sorted out. I will be running indoors, 8.5 motor on a track which is about 90% carpet. I am ordering slim staggered Ribs for the front, should I be running with or without inserts on the front ? And it appears that Yellow Mini Spikes are more popular with 2WD at our club than Mini Pins ? Was wondering what others run on mainly carpet. I have heard some people say that Mini Pins on the Rear of a 2WD provides too much grip and that Mini Spikes are better all round.

Would love to hear you're thoughts on this.

Thanks
Raymond

You probably won't have enough steering with the stagger ribs, you'll need slim minispikes on the front with either yellow minispikes or minipins on the rear. Depending on how much steering you like you might need minipins on the front too
