Is it me or are they only available in 1 compound and also it says good value for your money and then doesn't give you a price.

lol, but normally only Yellow, but this is GRP, so there isn't anything saying that they can't release more compounds, it is a start isn't it.

Don't get me wrong, more makes the better i think. I'm just wondering what these might be equivalent to, as there is nothing like a soft or hard if you know what i'm getting at. And like a few people out there i use the yellow and greens for dry and wet.

This is great news. GRP in Italy have copied the Schumacher tyres whilst making sure that the result was also moulded properly and round. Does anyone have access to rubbber testing at their work? to find our the shore hardness etc versus SCH?

What will happen now (assuming these are good tyres) when we have to selected TWO spec tyres. If these are equivalent to Schumachers then some clubs may choose to ditch Schumachers and have conespikes and Ballistics.

interesting....

Will they be able to break Schumacher's hold on the control tyre series (Nationals, some regionals)?

These have been tested for ages, I'm reliably informed one had very simialr characteristic of yellows. If they are moulded well I'd drop Schumachers in an instant!

me too, they look good, and the textured carcass should stop the muck sticking as easy. I like GRP foams, and their 1/8th tyres are great. I reckon these'll be good.

think some carefull thinking needs to be done before swopping from sch to these new tyres. i know most people have a lot of sch tyres either nib or on wheels that would become obsolete in effect if the control tyre was changed straight away. the tyre does look good but it needs to be at least as good as the sch and possibly cheaper and more durable for people to change

The BRCA could at least start by making these the control tyre for one or two of the Nationals??

I personally think it would be good to even out the Tyres a bit more so each main manufacturer gets one national where the tyres are to be used? You could have Schumacher, Ballistic, Proline, GRP, Losi and then for the 6th meeting it could be drawn from a hat.

Just an idea, i know it's not ideal to not use the best tyres for the specific track but people still seemed to like Kiddy without using BB Pins??

It would be the same for everyone at least.
