LRP Sphere TC

Hi,

help required please.

Was using my Sphere TC with a LRP 10.5 BL motor in my rc10r5 tonight then decided that my TRF416WE with the losi xcelorin 10.5 was set with too much drag brake and didn't have my program card to change the settings, so swapped the systems over ( no soldering/unsoldering as I swapped motor and esc as one).

Problem is that the LRP stuff won't give me any throttle in the 416. steering and fan on the esc are fine. No lights coming on the esc and won't go into set up or mode change either.

Tried re-setting to my Futaba pk4 but still nothing, even the guys who race with me at TRCC couldn't understand how a simple change could cause this.

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated as would an email address for SMD if anyone has one.

Sounds like the sensor lead has either got damaged or maybe disconnected - may all look fine but needs fine examination - hope this helps

Have you checked the white receiver wire (signal) for damage/connection?

Hi I had same problem as you, but i was racing and the car just cut out. The fan and steering worked but no throttle. I didnt wont to turn the speedo on again as it could burst in flames or somthing . Also there were no lights and i couldnt enter the Mode or Setup devices, so i contacted SMD and sent it to them and they sent me a Warrenty repair Lrp sphere tc speedo.

My speedo did smell Burnt, does yours, if so its dead mate
