Default LRP

I have an LRP SSX Competition and it handles any motor above a 4.5 turn.

but an LRP SPX Stock spec handles any motor above a 3.5...?

How come?

The variable timing would play a big factor in it

I don't think variable timing has to do with the difference... SPX stock spec turns OFF variable timing with a low turn motor

They seem to have the same transistors, so they should be equal in capability(13mV drop @20Amp). This version of SXX has not heatsink, which explains why it's 4.5T. The TC version has Heatsink and hence offcially supports 3.0T (check manual)
