Default Non Ko receiver with Universe 2.4 radio?

Does anyone know if you can use a non Ko receiver with the universe 2.4 radio or do I have to use a Ko receiver?

Thanks, Joe.

To my knowledge all 2.4ghz stuff binds / modulates differently to each each other so you have to match tx and rx.

So KO to KO, futaba to futaba, spektrum to spektrum, etc etc.

I got the 407s for £59 as my second receiver (408s came with radio) as the 409s was too expensive. It's the same size as the 408s but the antenna wire is a different kind (cheaper) hence the price difference. all the remaining 407s specs are identical to the 408/409 (supported response types, # of channels, etc).

works perfectly in my b44.

BTW - not sure if the "B" port will power a PT, if you have one, as I think that is for a receiver pack only...
