Default Gold Shock C Clip from early RC10

Hi,

while changing the O-rings on the shocks of my Gold Tub RC10 this afternoon I managed to lose one of the C Clips that holds the plastic disc and O-rings in place on the bottom of the shock.

I've mucked around with fiddly stuff like this thousands of times before, but this time my luck ran out.

Can anyone give me a part number / alternative / spare for this little piece?

I ran the RC10 for the first time last night and it was ace. So much fun. Quick and nippy for what it is and the motor I was using. Quiet too.

Of all the shocks I've built I just can't get the bubbles out of these ones. Any tips?

Thanks.

Elliott.

I don't recall the size, but the actual part name is an "internal circlip".

They are meant to have air in them mate. They are aireation or emulsion shocks where the air mixes with the oil. It's fine

Thankyou very much Mark, that's saved me a tonne of searching.

Tom, the squeaking just sounds wrong, but if you say so ...

Thanks guys.

Elliott.

it is hard to get them right for sure... make sure you don't underfill them either, they need some air, but not tons. There are a few good guides on the web showing how to best build associated shocks
