Default My AC ZX-5

Recently bought this off a member on here. It's my first 1/10th buggy, currently racing 1/18th but had a play with a friends ZX-5 (Matisse) and was hooked.

It's got a few hopups other than the AC chassis kit, 3 racing steering rack, alloy front/rear susp pivots, alloy front hubs.

Running it with a XErun 8.5, playing around in the garden it seemed nice enough, added 40g to the back end to get it to sit a bit flatter in the air, and I haven't played with the setup at all, but as it stands it seems pretty good. Got a Team Orion servo in there (not sure of the model) with a Spekky 3500 so it all fits nice and tidy on the lower deck. Unhappy with the servo/esc wiring but what's a guy to do?

Enough chat, picture time!

I got the whole car from a bloke on here. If you PM Jonathan @ Atomic (OldTimer) then he can get the parts made up for you. I asked him about prices for replacement parts (as my top deck is a bit tatty) and he said:

Quote:
The ZX5 shock towers in 4mm cf are £12.50 for the front and £14.50 for the rear, the standard top deck is £26.00 plus postage.
I don't know how much the whole kit would be but you can always drop him a PM.

Oh and I dont know if you're interested but I got the allen head screw kit from rc-screws.co.uk and thoroughly recommend them, went through the whole car today and replaced everything with nice shiny new stuff, and it just makes the car so much nicer to work on!
