buying 2nd hand

I'm going to buy a DEX410 in the next couple of days but I am torn between new or 2nd hand. Are there any points to look out for when buying one of these 2nd hand?

Of course I also have to find one for sale which is easier said than done.

I bought a used DEX410 a couple of weeks ago and I am very happy with it. I got lots of extras including a full spring kit and weights, even plenty of wheels/tyres, all for less that the cost of the kit alone.

I would say, best to try and buy from a reliable source, ie. someone on oOple. Look out for wear on drive shafts, and check the bearings if you can.

Thanks for the advice boys, however, I've just bit the bullet and bought a new one. Should be with me on Monday. Then the fun begins.
