Default Which Bodyshell & weights for the car

Hi Guys,

Was wondering which bodyshell is the best fit for the CR2?

I do like the looks of the JC bodyshell.

What do you guys tend to run the losi or the JC.

Well ordered my kit today with Oldtimer cant wait to start building.

I've also ordered the extra parts

Front NT kit plate B/H
B4 alloy servo posts
78T spur gear
Losi white super duty rod ends.

Is thier anything else that i need for the car?

I know i got to order the weights but i wait till i start running the car.

What weights have ppl started running from rudebits?

This is what i was going to order

Battery Braces 50g pair
Motor T support plate 56G
Under motor weight 20G

Do you think this will be enough or require something for the front

Thanks

Get the shock towers from AC too.

I've not got any extra weight in mine at the mo, found its easier to drive with less weight indoor.

Essential: brass T-plate, brass gearbox brace

Very handy: new motor plate

Handy: shock towers

I'm using the JC shell and liking it
Weight wise I use the homemade steel T-plate (soon brass one), 80gr of lead on back half of the battery space, 25gr left of motor and no weight up front. With this set-up I reached about 65,2% of weight on the rear wheels.

Carlin, the kit comes with a special offer from Rudebits so don't order you brass parts from them until you get your kit.

Carlin, we run the standard xxxcr shell, or the X6 and now phat bodies Zen.

They all look and fit well , the best part is when Blitz tells you the ride hight on your x6 is too high only to find out its a CR2 (never mind G)

Paul.
