Default brushless mad rat with lipo

OK,

I'm getting well into this rat!

I have a cheapish 40A orion vortex sensorless buggy combo bl setup with powerful 7.4v lipos. I've scrubbed the rear tyres in 3 charges!

The motor end cap came off the can today, absolute garbage, I'm on orions case!!

1st Q: What are the best all round grass/muck/tarmac tyres for bashing?

2nd Q: I have an xcelorin 4800kv sensorless combo from a speed T that I could try but I'm also considering buying an Lrp Ai Pro Reverse/Eraser brushless sensored combo.9.5T

What does everyone think?

Any experience of the above and your comments will be valued!!

If it's only for bashing, and if you dont are afraid to buy on Ebay, you can choose a Ezrun combo (sensorless) or a Xerun combo (sensored) from Hobbywing, it's cheap and work very well !

About the tires, try the proline bowtie, or maybe the holeshot (like the stock tires) but choose hard compound, more durability.

i must disagree kedal the bowtie and holeshot are way to soft for tarmac and will have no grip on grassi know this as i race week in week out with them thet are good on dirt but very soft i would say something like rally blocks? and a set of mini pins or full spikes on grass

Yes, you're right Battle axe !
My mistake.

Rally tires or shum tires should be a best choice.

hi i would just like you to hear what i did. I bought a mamba max esc 4600kv and 5700kv motors went to the shop and bought a xt po stuck it together put the esc and 4600 motor in along with a 5000mah 30c 11.1v battery turned the esc down to its lowest settings and gave it a test in the house it screamed like a pig so i tightened the diff and it was ok tuck it outside brilliant for about 3 min when it stopped the motor still ran but no movement stripped it down and it had totally melted the inside of the diff so if i were you i would be careful on how much power you try to get to the back wheels through that ball bearing diff. ho and i no nothing about tyres except they are a ba----d to glue on.

ch3no2 : you put a 4600kv motor with a 11.1V battery on it ?? Sure the diff had melted !!
Have you at least loose the slipper ?
