Default DF-03 ON THE PDA DIRT

Ive decided to treat myself to a used DF-03 with the intention of running it (when the slipper arrives) on the dirt surface at the PDA.It was the buggy that got me back into the hobby a few years back and still have a few spares left from my old Keen Hawk.
I only ever ran one on astro in the past and i reckon the dirt will be to its advantage. So if anyone has any dirt setups or df-03 spares let me know
maybe embarass a few peeps too

I don't have a setup for you but your battery needs to be lipo. The lighter, the better.

if you contact RW Racing, they can send you a layshaft that takes the B4 slipper unit, and then you get to use 48dp pinions!!

No luck from RW ...sold out a while back but ...
I have managed to fit the slipper hub and pads from my Madrat to my Df-03 to enable .48 pinions and spur gears to fit. a tiny bit of filing to the slipper hub and it slides on the gearshaft nicely.May help others wishing to go .48 instead of the standard 0.5 in the kit.
Still hoping to have it ready for the last PDA run out on wed

I've been running mine on loose dirt (backyard track, not competition) I think my springs are also yellow fronts red rears (I have the white spring kit, it's a bit confusing)

Goodluck with your racing

I also avoided the graphite towers as I think they are the cause for breaking the upper gearbox housings.

I love mine, makes me want to try a TRF.
