I had the ss50, the best thing was you could fit the c70 barrel, piston and head onto it, made it eat FS1E's for breakfast

Did you see the James May programme a few years back, where there was a mith that you could tune a fizzy to do over 60mph. With a team of mechanics with him they could only manage just over 40mph!

A mate of mine bought a brand new one in 1989, put a 90cc bore kit on it, lasted about 50 miles til the bottom end sounded like a bag of nuts and bolts. Went like a ethopian with a dinner ticket being chased by a lion tho.
And the lucky bugger got a new engine fitted through warranty.

2-strokes are so much more fun!
Had a TS50X as well that was bored out to an 80ish lol

The days of popping down to the local back street engineers for a bore and hone lol

My first ride was a TZR125. I rode a GP125 a year or too ago. Funny to think the big bore on my bike now was an extra 100cc

there is a fs1e for sale locally, dont know how much for though. my first bike was a ts50, total heap o shite. got a yam rs100 at the same time which i did up and modified heavily while riding the ts, the 100 would scare most 125's, powerband at 7000 made it quite hard to ride but serious fun, instant wheelie in second and did over 90mph

Nice list of bikes there, my first road bike was a Aprillia AF1 Replica 125, it had an Arrow pipe and carbon reeds etc

I thought I was a gp legend on the roads!

I race a TZR 250 in the Yamaha past Masters, 2nd season this year! Bring on The first round at Oulton in April!!

Yes for sure, I'm there on May 16/17, full gp circuit!!

I rode the gp circuit last year, it's mental but really good fun!

I'll let you know the dates, we visit brands 3/4 times during a season.

Check out Bemsee website, it's a good day out with some really quick lads on the 1000 and 600's, fairly cheap entry fee too compared the BSB etc.
