Default XRS enough for club racing and regional events?

Hi All.

I'm looking around for a 4WD for the next outdoor Season.
So i came across the Predator,
I was always fascinated from the cunstruction of this car.
As there are many improvements in the X11 and most of the Guys here are driving Durango and B44s is the XRS still competitive?

Or are there any known plans for a X11 version of the XRS?

Thanks for the hints and have a happy new year everyone!

Cheers
Pat

Hi.

I bought an XRS when they were released, and the only problem with it was the plastic rockers. Not sure if they are still plastic, or if they have upgraded them with alloy ones. I broke a plastic one on it's first run !

With alloy ones fitted, it's a great car, very similar to the X10 / X11, just more plastic. I bought a very rough second hand X10 from a pal to upgrade my XRS with the alloy parts, basically the steering and rockers. From there I never broke a thing. It was a very strong car. Now I run the X11, and it's bullet proof too.

Personally i'd PM or e-mail teamxtreme (www.teamxtremepredator.co.uk) and ask them for the spec of the XRS, you never know it could have changed with the introduction of the X11 team car.

Thanks for the hint will do so.

As i See they anounced a Lipo Chassis but its for X11 only so most likely will not fit the XRS

But as you said with little changes the XRS still is a competitive Car?

@all: Any other opinion or hints on this?

Cheers
Pat

I don't think it will without a lot of extra parts but you should be able to change your xrs chasis to take stick lipo!!!!

the xrs is a very very good car!! weather I would buy a new one now though is another thing maybe a second hand x11 or an x10 would be better option???

the preds are so much fun!!!

the thing i would add to an X10 or XRS car is the metal X brace
i lost my love for mine because i broke a front gearbox top everytime out
pretty sure with the Xbrace fitted the car would be as strong as anything else out there & definitely as competitive
