Hello.
It is made for NiMh batteries, but, if will be running lipo with Rude lipo tray, or add some weight on the rear? The weight of battery place will be approximately equal to that, as well as on NiMh? |

Hi,
yes, adding weight to the rear of the MiD 44 seems to be the way to go. I didn't tried the Rudebits tray, but is should fit with minor work, if any.

won't running a standard setup with lipo and no weight have a similar effect that the mid44 conversion running nimh's would?

![]() The NIMH MiD44 is much heavier (by 200g), its weight is more spread front-to-rear (a bit like an Atomized B44), where the lipo B44 is lighter, with very centralised weight (much like X-5s). The MiD also has thinner upper decks, it is less rigid. The "Squad" (Oliv996 and some friends) kind of failed to make a MiD44 lipo-friendly without adding weight. Oliv, Antoine Rossetti and Predatom are now back to old-school XX-4, I use a B44 with lipos and some weight under cells.
