Default Brakes on B4

Hi im running this

but the brakes are crap, do i need to buy the programming lead to sort this or is there anythinh i can do with slipper/gearing etc to improve?

You use the brakes?!

It must need programming, is it a one button set-up??

The Esc is a rebaged Castle creations Sidewinder.
You dont need the cord. Look at page 20 in the manual

buy the memory card reader as my mate did and his esc is good the set on them are basic setting it will sort the brakes out . but no need for brakes set at 100% if its for bashing at the esc will heat up- qicker mate and try and get a fan for it or make a bracket with a fan i got a fan on the motor and esc keeps it cool . you need the card reader is a must

Mate im sorry, i didnt really understand much of that, where can i get a reader, and where are my brakes best set at?

Ohm... No need for the brakes to be at 100%, just try something a little higher, give it a go, and then go from there.
