Default Forza Motorsport 3 (Xbox)

Anyone tried the Demo yet? It's available to download and well worth doing if you haven't already....

It now has a cockpit view for more realism but the game is simply stunning!!!!!

I've never played a better racing game then Forza 1 or 2 but this looks set to improve yet again - Gran Turismo, Need for speed shift etc just don't get close to the realism you get with Forza, the way each car handles so differently yet exactly how you'd imagine the real thing to be.... Awesome game, can't wait for it to come out now!!

It really is an awesome game I agree. I've always been a fan of Forza since day 1 and its realism. I've even bought a PS3 in the hope that the hype of Gran Turismo really lives up but it just doesn't!

The new ones amazing though, it's introduced a feature I love which is the in-car cockpit view, they really have spent a lot of time detailing each individual cars interior with all working dials e.t.c. Another new feature I really like is the Manual mode with Clutch! It's a little weird on the controller but it adds an extra element of realism to the game and it works really well (looks into wheel/pedal sets with clutches).

It's out in 10 days I think isn't it? Definitely can't wait to get on the game, paint some cars e.t.c. You'll have to post your gamertag here when it's out and we can get some multiplayer games going.

I don’t have a console, but after seeing the reviews etc. I’m really tempted to get an Xbox for this. It looks like great fun and the range of cars is amazing.

I like it, I think its very very good.

however, the cockpit view puts me off, the 'guy' driving my car does not seem to turn the steering wheel at the same time I turn the stick, very confusing, so I race on the bonnet!

I'm loving my white 'rari California pimpin'

(note - it only gets good when you turn pretty much all the driver aids off)

Hang on a sec..... have you got it already Mr Doughty??????

I've only got a small Demo with one track, 2 laps in a few different cars! :-)

I know what you mean about the cockpit view, i'd actually rather not see his arms but the view works really well for a bit more realism i thought?

Such an awesome game though.

I had it pre ordered through Game and Blockbuster but due to the postal strikes I've canceled both. I will be visiting a blockbuster tomorrow to reserve an instore copy as they are selling the collectors edition for £40!

I'll be having this.

Painted plenty of cars on Forza 2 so can't wait to get stuck into this.

And if you look at the leaderboards, it lets you do time trials....unlimited laps.

Heres my Forza 2 creations:

I played the demo, and I think Gran Turismo 5 is going to be better.

It had better be, they put a man on the moon quicker than Polyphony Digital are putting GT5 into production. It's all very well saying they are incorporating the latest cars (and I note they've had to shove damage and rollover modelling in to keep up) but when are they gonna stop developing it and actually release the bloody thing!

some great cars there

I'm not sold on Forza 3, don't get me wrong I've played Forza 2 to death and love it, but 3 is just not doing it for me yet it looks good but I can't make up my mind, maybe the full game will be better...............

just the regular Demo like everyone else Nick, one of the demo cars is a Ferrari California...
not tried the R8, as soon as I saw all the wheels lit up (4 wheels drive) I soon skipped over it

Haha i know what you mean Chris! Weirdly my demo didn't have the Ferrari! I don't think it was there anyway.......... That's why i thought you may have a sneaky pre-release or something I've got a Lambo though so that's pretty cool, Evo's fairly boring and i haven't bothered with the Mini either!

Mine came today, been on it for the last 30 minutes. Couldn't work it out at first as you seem to have to race the first race with no choices, then it unlocks and lets you change stuff. Have now tweaked all the assists to be to my liking and have to say...it's great. I miss the "drifty" handling a bit but at the moment I only have FWD stuff. I'm sure I'll get onto the RWD stuff soon enough. Some of the tracks do seem to be bloody narrow though. Tag is Mini35LE.

I would like the game MUCH MUCH MUCH more if you could sort out the controller so that its the same as a transmitter similar to the way that GT* does. Is this possible on the 3rd version anyone know?
